Trials, Results and Analysis

When a new project has been completed, whether a new build, or an existing vessel which has been modified, it is normal to take the vessel out on trials. This allows complete testing and verification of the vessel, any upgrades, redesign, systems, etc.. During these trials, the importance of obtaining as much data as possible is paramount; later analysis may be necessary and original data may be the key to solving technical problems.
