PHOTOGRAMMETRY: JB has developed the 3D geometry of a fishing vessel using photogrammetry:

ALUMINIUM KITS: JB Redesigned the Superstructure, transom and keel and provided a new kit, Build drawings and Bill of Materials for the Lyme boats 16 and 17metre catamarans, including SamsonB shown below, which had a new wheelhouse with optimised forward vision for windfarm access work, and an extended transom which incorporated steps to a diving platform:

New 17m GRP Catamaran Design: JB Provided the Naval Architecture services for the design of the new Blyth 17 metre catamarans:

12 Metre Catamaran Workboat: This model is MCA certified for Cat VI, carrying 50 passengers.
9.5 Metre Patrol Boats for The Port of London: JB Has produced the final design for this vessel, including lines, structure, stability and MCA compliance. Two of these vessel are in use with the Port Of London Authority. Extract from the Royal Institution of Naval Architects LR Ship Safety awards
Landing Craft/ Utility workboat: JB designed this Aluminium workboat (2 sterndrive versions and a further 6 waterjet propelled boats)
Maryslim VSV Stability and buoyancy: JB assisted with the design of this vessel to ensure that it meets its stability requirements.

12 METRE STEEL PONTOONS for Mostyn Dock: to SSC scantlings.
11 METRE Passenger Ferry for Lake tours: Structural design (to DnV small boat code), guidance on the hull design, stability analysis and assisted with achieving MCA Passenger vessel certification.
Re-design of propulsion arrangement of a thrill-ride boat: JB Re-designed the aft sections of this thrill-ride boat that was struggling to achieve the desired performance. New engines and waterjets were installed and aft structure re-built to JB specification.
5.7 Metre Aluminium RIB for a Military application: JB assisted with the structural design (to Lloyds SSC rules) and undertook a comprehensive stability assessment.
Various Aluminium & FRP RIB Designs: JB assisted with the structural design (to meet Lloyds SSC rules and ISO 12215-5) and also providing stability and self-righting calculations.
ALUMINIUM PLANING CATAMARAN FERRY: JB undertook performance analysis based on trails and correlation with predicted data.
ROUGH RIDER: Aluminium 5.5metre punt for litter/debris clearing in marinas and inland waterways.
Design of Aluminium 12 Metre Houseboats now moored in Poole Harbour.
Design of a semi-displacement Diving Vessel for the tourist/diving industry. Preliminary design package to aid concept development.
Technical advice and design input to Aluminium Marine Fabricators.
FULL CARBON MILITARY INSERTION CRAFT: Designed to go very fast, ultra-light and almost invisible. Hull and deck lines, weight analysis, resistance & propulsion calc's, structure to Lloyds SSC rules.
PRINCESS MOTOR YACHTS: In conjunction with Bernard Olesinski Ltd. JB provided the day to day technical assistance to the design of Princess yachts between 1997 and 2002. This included assisting with the the structural design of the range of motor yachts from 38ft to 85ft, inclining tests and stability analysis and ensuring that the craft met the requirements of the Recreational Craft Directive.

MOODY SAILING YACHTS: As with the Princess Yachts, JB provided the day to day technical assistance to the design of Moody yachts between 1997 and 2002. This included assisting with the the structural design of the range of sailing yachts from 36ft to 64ft, inclining tests and stability analysis and ensuring that the craft met the requirements of the Recreational Craft Directive.
