20.0 Metre Catamaran Car Ferry                                                   

The 20 metre Workat Ferry is of Aluminium construction, designed to Lloyds Special Service Craft Rules. This catamaran was developed as an improvement over an existing vessel, particularly offering improved speed and seakeeping.

The Ferry is intended for access to shallow slipways, hence the long, shallow angled forefoot. The relatively short bow door provides a simple and effective solution for loading and unloading of vehicles. Good visibility and spacious room in the wheelhouse provides seating for 18 people, with space for a small galley or water heater.

Displacement is approximately 22 tonnes, depending on engine installation.
