Ali-Punt

The 'Ali-Punt' is a light, yet robust boat intended to fulfil a light 'workboat' capability. It has been designed in Marine Grade (5083) Aluminium to be strong, lightweight and durable, at an affordable price. The Ali-Punt features a pair of longitudinal strakes on the forward sections of the hull bottom which provide grounding protection to the hull; it is designed to be able to be dragged across muddy ground, reed beds, etc..  

The Ali-Punt has four lifting points to facilitate lifting from decks and the design allows it to be utilised as a 'Skip' to carry a load which can then be lifted and tipped over its' bow. This makes it ideal for waste clearance or debris collection in confined waterways, as well as being ideally suited for operation as an emergency tender for flood relief, oil spill response, river patrol etc.

The Ali-Punt incorporates built-in buoyancy which meets the requirements of the MCA Harmonised SCV code. It carries a 15 hp outboard as standard and is easily towed on a trailer.

The The Ali-Punt family provide a versatile range of craft to suit your needs. The 'Ali-Punt - Big Bro' is the big brother of the Ali-Punt, with increased beam, depth and reserve buoyancy. Big- Bro can also be towed on a trailer.
